English rivals Manchester City and Chelsea will battle it out for the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League trophy at Porto’s Estadio do Dragao on Saturday night.

Pep Guardiola’s side head in Saturday’s clash having won the Premier League title, although Chelsea have already beaten Man City twice this year.

Man City have enjoyed an unbeaten Champions League campaign up to now, recording 11 wins and just one draw along the way.

After finishing top of Group C on 16 points, the Cityzens overcame Borussia Monchengladbach in the Round of 16, before seeing off Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.

In the semi-finals, Man City produced two hugely impressive displays to crush Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 over two legs.

Looking at the bigger picture, Man city have only lost one of their previous 20 matches in the Champions League – winning each of their last seven.

In the Premier League, Guardiola’s side lost just six of their 38 matches to finish 12 points clear of second-place Manchester United.

Not only were Man City the top scorers in the Premier League (83), but they also boasted the best defensive record in the division (32).

On the flip side, Chelsea finished fourth in the Premier League – 19 points behind newly-crowned champions Man City.

The Blues lost nine of their 38 league matches, although they only suffered three defeats in 19 league games after Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard.

When it comes to the Champions League, Chelsea secured four wins and two draws to finish atop Group E.

Tuchel’s men then saw off Atleitco Madrid (3-0), Porto (2-1) and Real Madrid (3-1) in the knockout phase – advancing to the final.

Remarkably, Chelsea have kept four clean sheets in their last six Champions League games and have only conceded two goals in the process.

Head-to-head: Man City have only managed to win two of their last six meetings with Chelsea in all competitions.

Chelsea knocked Man City out of the FA Cup in April before beaten the Cityzens 2-1 in the Premier League earlier this month.

Team news: Man City have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the final. The big question is – will Sergio Aguero start his final game for the club?

As for Chelsea, they are sweating over the fitness of N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy, who both picked up minor knocks last week.

Chelsea may have already beaten Guardiola’s side twice in the past couple of months, but Man City’s superiority is expected to shine through on Saturday.

With that in mind, Forebet predicts that Man City will score over 1.5 goals on their way to beating the Blues – securing their first Champions League title as a result.
