UEFA Champions League Group D sees Bayer Leverkusen travel to Turin to face Juventus on Tuesday evening.

Both sides are looking for their first win of the campaign, so it’s set to be a thrilling encounter at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus come into this match on the back of a comfortable 2-0 win over SPAL at the weekend, meaning the “Old Lady” is yet to lose a match in Italy’s top-flight this term.

Maurizio Sarri’s men have won 5 Serie A games while drawing 1, and have conceded just 5 goals in the process.

Juventus played out a thrilling 2-2 draw away at Atletico Madrid on Matchday 1 of this competition. Despite throwing away a two-goal lead, the Italian side will ultimately be happy to come away from Spain without defeat.

Bayer Leverkusen also come into this match having picked up a convincing league victory, as the German club beat Augsburg 3-0 away from home.

Leverkusen registered 11 shots in that match while also enjoying 75% of the possession, and will be hoping they can bring their solid league form onto the European stage.

However, Bayer suffered a disappointing 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Lokomotiv Moscow in the previous round of the Champions League, and will be eager to avoid defeat against Juventus.

Despite always being amongst the favorites to win the Champions League, Juve's recent record in the competition is poor.

The Italians have claimed just one win in their last six European matches and have suffered three defeats in their last six Champions League home games.

With that being said, Bayer Leverkusen have also struggled in this competition recently. The German side have won just two of their last 14 Champions League matches.

Leverkusen will once again be without key man Leon Bailey who has not featured since picking up an injury against Lokomotiv Moscow on Matchday 1.

Giorgio Chiellini, Mattia Perin, Mattia De Sciglio, Douglas Costa and Danilo are all expected to miss out for Juventus due to injury.

Leverkusen beat Juventus in the most recent meeting between the two teams, and went on to reach the final of this competition in 2001/02

However, Juventus are likely to be too strong for Bayer Leverkusen this time around.

Forebet predicts a comfortable home win, with Juve also keeping a clean sheet.
