On Tuesday night, Bayer Leverkusen hosts Club Brugge at the BayArena in Group B of the Champions League.

Their main weakness of late has been conceding too many goals, as they have conceded at least two goals in their last five matches while also conceding at least two goals in seven of their previous eight games in all competitions.
Bayer has already suffered elimination from the Champions League. However, the German team could still finish third in the group and drop into the Europa League in the New Year if results on gameweek six go their way.
However, Leverkusen’s recent results in the competition doesn’t suggest they will record the win they need, as they have lost four of their last six games in the Champions League.
The Belgian team have been one of the surprise packages of the Champions League. Carl Hoefkens’ team won their opening three games in Group B.
However, since the wins, Club Brugge has drawn 0-0 with Atletico Madrid and suffered a 4-0 home defeat by Porto. However, the draw against Atletico was enough to book to seal their place in the last 16 of the competition.
The main reason for Club Brugge’s successful European campaign so far has been their solid defensive displays, as the Belgian team has kept clean sheets in four of their five matches in Group B of the competition.
Club Brugge have not been the best travellers of late in the Champions League, though, winning just two of their previous seven away matches in the competition.
