On Tuesday evening, Sevilla hosts Copenhagen at the Sanchez Pizjuan in Group G of the Champions League as the home side looks to maintain their faint hopes of a place in the last 16 of the competition.
The Spanish team are experiencing a poor campaign both at home and abroad. While Los Nervionenses are just above the relegation zone in La Liga, they have also taken just two points from their four games in the Group.

However, the Spanish team are currently in third place in the group due to a superior goal difference of one to Tuesday night’s visitors. A win in this game would guarantee Sevilla third place and a spot in the Europa League in the new year.
They have found Champions League victories hard to come by of late, winning just once in their previous 12 matches in European football’s elite competition.
Sevilla have also won just one of their previous seven home games in the Champions League.
As expected, Copenhagen has struggled for points in Group G. The visitors are level on points with the home side. Still, an unlikely away win would mean they qualify for the Europa League, regardless of the result in gameweek six.
However, the Danish team has won just one of their previous eight games in the Champions League, having failed to score in five matches in the competition. They have also failed to win in four away games in European football’s elite competition.
It was always going to be a tough challenge to be in a group with three such experienced European campaigners as Manchester City, Dortmund and, of course, Sevilla, even if the Spaniards are having a poor season.
Forebet predicts that these two teams will produce a low-scoring draw, ending Sevilla’s hopes of making the last 16 of the Champions League.
