Tuesday night sees Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid clash in Champions League Group F as the reigning European champions look to book their place in the knockout stages.
The home team has experienced a slightly inconsistent recent run of form, mainly because most of their recent games have been in the Champions League. The Ukrainian outfit is in second place in Group F, having collected four points from their opening three matches.

A 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu ended a three-game unbeaten run in all competitions for the home team.
However, the defeat also means that Shakhtar has won just one of their previous ten matches in European football’s elite competition.
Shakhtar has struggled to claim wins in what has been classified as their home matches, as they have failed to win in five home games in the Champions League.
This game will take place in Warsaw, as Shakhtar have not played their home games in their own city since 2014.
As expected, the European champions have dominated Group F, winning all three of their group games. If Carlo Ancelotti’s team records a win, they will book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
As European champions, it is understandable that Los Blancos have a recent stellar record in the Champions League, as the men from Madrid have now recorded five straight wins in Europe’s elite competition while scoring at least two goals in four of the five wins.
The Spanish giants have also won five of their previous seven away games in the Champions League.
Forebet predicts that Real Madrid will record a victory in a high-scoring encounter to book their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
