Anthony Modeste scored in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time for the draw. The draw could dent Bayern’s Bundesliga title fight and spur Dortmund in the league.
Borussia Dortmund’s only defeat in the Champions League was against Manchester City. Edin Terzic’s team played well in their other matches and were just a few minutes away from defeating City away.
Jude Bellingham leads Dortmund in goals with four this season. Marco Reus leads the team in assists, with four in all competitions. However, Reus will miss the Champions League match due to an ankle injury.
Midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud has a shoulder injury that will keep him on the sidelines. Defender Mateu Morey has a meniscus issue and will miss the fixture.
Sampaoli has two players on the Sevilla injury list. Defender Karim Rekik is out of action with a hamstring injury. Jesus Corona is out until December with a ligament problem.
Sevilla do not score many goals. They scored nine goals in 11 matches while conceding 22 times to opponents. Los Rojiblancos conceded four times to Dortmund a week ago, and they should allow goals once more to the Yellow and Black.
