Inter Milan have obtained 10 points from 15 on offer in the Champions League Group D. A win would give Simeone Inzaghi’s team the group and prevent them from playing teams such as Liverpool, Manchester City, or Bayern Munich in the round of 16.
Inter Milan are in great form and are unbeaten in 11 straight matches. Each of their last five games ended as wins.
Real Madrid are also on a great run of form as they are unbeaten in 11 straight games. Los Blancos’ last eight matches all ended as victories. At the weekend, Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad 2-0 in La Liga.
Carlo Ancelotti lost his top goalscorer against Real Sociedad, however. Karim Benzema suffered a hamstring strain and will now miss up to six weeks of football. Benzema has scored 17 goals for Real Madrid in all competitions.
Vinicius Jr is in excellent form heading into the match. The Brazilian has tallied 12 goals in all competitions and bagged one of Real Madrid’s two goals against Real Sociedad at the weekend. Ancelotti will be without Dani Ceballos and Gareth Bale for the fixture due to injuries.
Coach Simone Inzaghi will be without the services of Joaquin Correa, Aleksandar Kolarov, Andrea Ranocchia, Matteo Darmian, and Stefan de Vrij due to injuries. The coach will need to make multiple changes to the team.
