As we head into gameweek six of the Champions League, there is still a battle to see who will seal third spot in Group B, between Olympiakos and Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade), who meet in Greece on Wednesday night.
The visitors currently occupy third place in the group behind the already qualified Bayern Munich and Tottenham, who meet in the other Group B encounter.
Red Star only needs a draw to seal a place in the Europa League knockout stages, as they are currently ahead of their Greek opponents.
Olympiakos head into this decisive clash having lost their last four games in the Champions League while conceding at least two goals in all four defeats. The only point that the home side has taken in Group B was on gameweek one when they held Tottenham to a 2-2 draw.

They suffered a 3-1 defeat in the reverse fixture in Belgrade, which could prove to be the decisive result if the Greek side fails to make third spot and don’t drop down into the Europa League in the new year.
Although the visitors have more points in the group, it is only that aforementioned win in the reverse fixture that has kept the Serbian side above their hosts. Like Olympiakos, Red Star have lost four of their five games in the Champions League, having conceded at least two goals in each defeat.
The visitors have also won just once in 90 minutes in their last ten outings in European football’s elite competition.
A poor away record plays a big part in Red Star’s recent underwhelming record in the Champions League, as they have failed to win in ten away matches in the competition.
On paper, there is not much between these two teams. However, Forebet predicts that Red Star will just edge it in a high-scoring clash.
