This run amongst other wins also extended Pep Guardiola’s men towards the 20-unbeaten run mark in all competitions, as a run in Europe, the Premier League and the FA Cup puts his side on 19 right now after another Manchester derby win.
Guardiola did fall behind to a stunning Marcus Rashford finish that day, but a finish from Foden in the second half put City right back in the game.
The local legend soon doubled his tally before Erling Haaland ended his three-game league goal drought with a finish towards the end of the match.
Although a league title triumph is still well on the cards for the champions of England, City are behind Liverpool in the table by a point still having lost three times, drawing one less than the Reds and both winning 19 times.
In fact, with a 6-2 in the FA Cup over Luton Town this time last week, there's very little stopping City from winning back-to-back trebles.
