Celtic host Spanish champions Barcelona at Celtic Park on Wednesday night in the Champions League, with the home side looking to avoid another humiliating defeat against the Catalan giants.

Celtic look to be out of the race for the last-16 spots. However, they could still be in contention for third spot and a place in the Europa League. There is one bright spot for Celtic in the fact that the Scottish champions have suffered just one defeat in their last 13 outings since that humiliating loss in Catalonia. There is also the fact that Barcelona failed to score last time out against Malaga.
However, that could work against Celtic, as both Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez missed the game against Malaga. Both will be restored to the starting line-up for this clash. The Spanish champions have not failed to score in any of their eight away games this season, so the Hoops defence could be in for a long night.
