On Tuesday evening, RB Leipzig host Manchester City at the Red Bull Arena, in Group A of the Champions League, in the home team’s first game without head coach Jesse Marsch.
Die Roten Bullen fired Marsch late last week with the team 11th position in the German top-flight table. The team's poor Champions League campaign may also have had a hand in the 47-year-old’s dismissal.

Leipzig are already out of the Champions League, as they are currently third place in the group, four points behind second-place PSG.
At the moment they would drop down into the Europa League. However, fourth-place Club Brugge are level on points, with the Belgian team facing PSG in gameweek six.
In truth, RB Leipzig were always up against it to make the knockout stages of the Champions League. However, the fact that they also suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Club Brugge was maybe the biggest disappointment of the campaign so far.
A 5-0 win at Club Brugge in their last Champions League match ended a six-game winless run in the competition for Die Roten Bullen.
Manchester City have already booked their place in the last-16 of the Champions League by finishing top of Group A. Pep Guardiola’s team have won four of their five games in the group, with their only blip a slightly unfortunate 2-0 defeat in Paris.
Not only have Manchester City been in good form in this competition, but the Citizens have also won their last seven games in all competitions while scoring at least two goals in all seven victories.
The visitors have a stellar recent record in the Champions League, winning 11 of their previous 13 matches in European football’s elite competition, having scored at least two goals in all 11 wins.
Forebet predicts that Manchester City will add to Leipzig’s recent woes by recording a victory in a high-scoring encounter.
