Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur will both be aiming to secure European football for next season when they clash at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

As we head into the final weekend of the 2020/21 Premier League Season, Spurs sit seventh – three points behind sixth-place West Ham.

Meanwhile, Leicester find themselves fifth – level with fourth-place Liverpool and one point behind third-place Chelsea.

The Foxes can’t finish any lower than fifth, with a four-point gap between them and West Ham. However, they will be desperate to secure a top-four finish.

Despite beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final last weekend, Leicester’s season is in real danger of ending on a sour note.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have lost two of their last three Premier League matches and have dropped out of the top four as a result.

Having spent the entirety of the season sitting pretty in the Champions League places, Leicester City could beat Tottenham and still miss out on a top-four finish.

Still, the Foxes can take confidence from the fact that they have scored at least once in each of their last nine home games and have scored over 1.5 goals in each of their previous three home league matches.

Funnily enough, Tottenham have also lost two of their last three Premier League encounters, just like Leicester.

When you look at the bigger picture, Spurs have only managed to win one of their previous seven away matches in all competitions.

Ryan Mason has done a decent job since replacing Jose Mourinho on an interim basis, but his side might not be playing European football next season.

Having netted 64 goals in 37 games, Tottenham are the fifth-highest scorers in the Premier League this season.

Harry Kane has bagged 22 goals and 13 assists in 34 league matches this term and will be hoping to seal his third Golden Boot on the final day.

Head-to-head: Leicester claimed a relatively straightforward 2-0 victory over Tottenham in the reverse fixture back in December.

However, Spurs have won four of their previous six matches against the Foxes – scoring over 2.5 goals on three occasions during that period.

Team news: Jonny Evans, Harvey Barnes and James Justin will miss the final match of the season for Leicester, while Cengiz Under is also a doubt.

On the other hand, Tottenham will be without defensive duo Japhet Tanganga and Ben Devis for the trip to the Midlands.

Their FA Cup triumph aside, Leicester have fallen away towards the end of the season and could slip up on Sunday.

With that in mind, Forebet predicts that Spurs will secure a high-scoring victory over the Foxes, with over 3.5 total goals looking likely.
