Eintracht Frankfurt’s impressive run of results in the Bundesliga was brought to an end by a disappointing 2-1 defeat away from home at Werder Bremen, but Frankfurt return to the more familiar surroundings of their Deutsche Bank Park for Friday night’s clash against mid-table Stuttgart, looking to bounce back with a win.

Despite defeat last time out in the German top flight, Eintracht Frankfurt still remain in the top four of the Bundesliga but now only hold a three-point lead over 5th placed Borussia Dortmund prior to Friday night’s action.

Eintracht Frankfurt had previously put together an impressive sequence of 11 matches without defeat in the Bundesliga which included nine wins while at home, the hosts have won their last five matches on the trot.

Victories against Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke, Hertha Berlin, Koln and most impressive of all, a 2-1 win against league leaders, Bayern Munich, should still give Eintracht Frankfurt plenty of confidence for this encounter.

Frankfurt manager, Adi Hutter, has no fresh injury worries and may give the same eleven a  chance to redeem themselves here.

Stuttgart will be hoping that they can make it three wins on the trot in the Bundesliga when they make their way to Frankfurt for this upcoming clash at the Deutsche Bank Park following recent victories over Koln and Schalke.

However, it should be noted that these wins were against teams currently sitting near the bottom of the domestic top flight while the visitors have managed to register just four wins out of their last 12 matches overall.

Earlier in the season, Stuttgart had made a promising start to this campaign away from home as the visitors were unbeaten in their opening six matches on their travels, but results have seen a steady decline in subsequent weeks as they’ve lost four of their last six matches on the road.

Defeats at Wolfsburg, Arminia Bielefeld, Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen have meant that Stuttgart remain floating around in a mid-table position of 10th place on the Bundesliga ladder and five points adrift of the top six.

The visitors are likely to be without the services of forward Gonzalez (6 goals) along with midfielders Egloff and Thommy for this upcoming clash at the Deutsche Bank Park.

Eintracht Frankfurt look to possess more quality in the final third in this clash and should claim the points.
