Eintracht Frankfurt recorded a 2-0 home win against Werder Bremen in the DFB Pokal on Wednesday night as they progressed to the semi-final of the competition. It ended a run of two games without a victory as Eintracht Frankfurt previously lost 2-1 at home against Union Berlin in the Bundesliga and were held to a 2-2 at Salzburg in the Europa League.
Eintracht Frankfurt have proven difficult to beat in recent matches and have lost only 2 of their last 10 games in all competitions. However, the 2 defeats have come in their last 5 games including a heavy 4-0 loss against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
