This clash is undoubtedly the fixture of all the midweek matches in the German top flight with 3rd placed Borussia Dortmund taking on the current Bundesliga leaders, RB Leipzig, when the two teams meet at the Signal-Iduna-Park with another precious three points at stake for both teams.

Borussia Dortmund will be in confident mood after having recorded 3 league wins on the trot with victories over Hertha Berlin, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Mainz which saw Tuesday night’s hosts score a total of 11 goals in this 3-match winning streak.

Goals have been in plentiful supply for the hosts so far this season.

The hosts still remain unbeaten at home so far in this season’s Bundesliga campaign and are the only side in the domestic top flight yet to taste defeat having won 5 of their 7 home matches to date.
