Last season saw Bayern Munich score a 1-0 victory at the Allianz Arena before the clubs drew nil-nil in Leipzig. Bayern Munich then played RB Leipzig off the park in the German Cup Final with a 3-0 win to lift the trophy.

Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski has tallied six goals and bagged a hat-trick against Schalke on matchday 2. Lewandowski will be deployed with attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho as his personal playmaker on Saturday.
Head coach Niko Kovac will be without midfielder Leon Goretzka after he underwent surgery for a thigh muscle injury. He will be out for around four weeks. Kovac has begun deploying Joshua Kimmich in central midfield and will most likely play him next to Thiago.
RB Leipzig’s squad is relatively healthy. Only one player is listed as injured for Saturday’s big showdown as midfielder Tyler Adams is still recovering from a groin injury.
