Head coach Niko Kovac has two suspended players for the match on Sunday. Ridle Baku is ruled out along with Patrick Wimmer due to suspension. Kovac will also be without Lukas Nmecha. The trio of Lukas Ambros, Kilian Fischer, and Bartol Franjic could return to the squad.
Farke will be without midfielder Manu Kone following a suspension. Defender Tony Jantschke is ruled out with an injury until May. Midfielder Julian Weigl could make the squad following an ankle injury.
Thuram is having a strong season as he prepares to leave Gladbach on a free transfer in the summer. The forward has 12 goals in 25 Bundesliga matches this season to lead Borussia Monchengladbach.
