Millwall will welcome Sheffield United to The Den on Saturday for an all-Championship FA Cup third-round tie.

The Lions go into the match on a four-game unbeaten streak in the Championship and are currently in the top six, as the second division takes a break for the FA Cup third round.

Sheffield United are also in the mix for promotion to the Premier League. The Blades are second in the division and look likely to achieve automatic promotion along with Burnley if things continue as they have in the league.

Saturday’s FA Cup tie at The Den will be the second meeting of the campaign between Millwall and Sheffield United. The teams met earlier in the season at Bramall Lane in the Championship, with Sheffield United winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Iliman Ndiaye and Sander Berge in the first half.

The home team won the last two games between these teams. However, just because Millwall won at The Den against Sheffield United last season, doesn’t mean the Lions will be successful on Saturday,

Sheffield United won two of their last three games in all competitions away at The Den. The Blades have a record of 8W-3D-4L on the road in all competitions this season.

Sheffield United are on a six-game unbeaten run ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup third round. Five of the six games ended as wins.

Sheffield United manager Paul Heckingbottom could be without five injured players on Saturday. Midfielders Ismailia Coulibaly and John Fleck are both unlikely to play due to leg injuries.

Forward Rhian Brewster is unlikely to play following a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, defenders Norrington-Davies and Jack O’Connell are doubts to make the squad due to their respective leg injuries.

Millwall manager Gary Rowett has just one player on the injury list ahead of the match on Saturday. Midfielder Ryan Leonard is sidelined with a hamstring and may miss the game.

Zian Flemming leads Millwall with 10 goals in all competitions. Forward Tom Bradshaw has chipped in with six goals and two assists. Rowett is likely to play a strong side even with the team chasing a place in the promotion playoffs.

Sheffield United are led in goals by the duo of Ndiaye and Oliver McBurnie. The pair have combined for 18 goals, nine apiece in all competitions.

Sheffield United won two of their last three matches at The Den against Millwall. The Blades also picked up a 2-0 win against the Lions earlier this season in the Championship. On Saturday, Sheffield United should edge Millwall 1-0 in a close game in London.
