Arsenal will be hoping to extend their 100% record in the Premier League this season when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Having won each of their opening five games, the Gunners are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table – two points clear of Manchester City.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils find themselves fifth – six points behind Arsenal – after securing three straight victories.

Man Utd made the worst possible start to the season, suffering back-to-back defeats to Brighton & Hove Albion (1-2) and Brentford (4-0).

They have since bounce back, however, notching three consecutive wins against Liverpool (2-1), Southampton (0-1) and Leicester City (0-1).

Erik ten Hag’s side conceded six goals in their opening two games. However, they have only conceded three across their previous three – keeping two clean sheets in the process.

Although only six teams have scored fewer Premier League goals than Man Utd’s five this season, their defence has been excellent in recent weeks.

Arsenal kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace before thrashing Leicester City 4-2 the following weekend.

After crushing Bournemouth 3-0, the Gunners secured back-to-back 2-1 victories over Fulham and Aston Villa.

Only Man City (19) and Liverpool (15) have scored more Premier League goals than Arsenal (13) this season.

Better still, only Brighton (3) have conceded fewer Premier League goals than Arsenal (4) this term – meaning they have been strong at both ends of the pitch.

Gabriel Jesus (3 goals, 3 assists) has hit the ground running since moving to the Emirates, while Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli have also scored three goals this season.

Head-to-head: Man Utd have only managed to win one of their previous eight Premier League meetings with Arsenal, suffering four losses in the process.

Both sides claimed a win in this fixture last term. Man Utd won 3-2 at Old Trafford before Arsenal won 3-1 on home soil.

Team news: Man Utd’s Brandon Williams remains unavailable due to injury. On a brighter note, new signing Antony could make his debut for the club.

As for the Gunners, they will be without the injured midfield duo of Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey for the trip to Old Trafford.

Although Man Utd have upped their game in recent weeks, Arsenal are expected to leave Old Trafford with all three points.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score on Sunday. However, the Gunners are expected to outscore the Red Devils to extend their winning streak to six games.
