RB Leipzig will look to build on their decent 1-0 win in the Europa League against Rangers with them travelling to Mönchengladbach to meet with a Borussia Mönchengladbach side now up into 11th after a decent run of form.
Angelino was the man who made the difference for Leipzig last time out as he scored a stunning volley from the edge of the box from a corner, and his goal now gives the club a one-goal advantage in the Europa League semi-finals ahead of their trip to Glasgow.

We'll do everything to achieve our goal and reach the final"🔴⚪ #WeAreLeipzig #UEL pic.twitter.com/qTXH1mT9hf— RB Leipzig English (@RBLeipzig_EN) April 28, 2022

It was, however, a relatively underwhelming performance across the 90 minutes for the German giants, with very few chances created, not much threat on Rangers’ goal, and as the Glasgow side also netted a few chances of their own.
In reality, the tie is still wide open despite Angelino’s stunning strike.
On the other hand, Domenico Tedesco's appointment back in November has worked wonders for the club with them now into fourth in the table after previously sitting as low as 12th and without any hope of making it into the Champions League for next season.
They now sit ahead of Freiburg by two points, and are only trailing third-placed Bayer Leverkusen by three points themselves, and they could end up finishing third once more in the Bundesliga in these last three games.
On the other hand, Leipzig have also beaten and lost to Union Berlin in their past two domestic games, with them heading to the final of the DFB-Pokal following a 2-1 in over the Berlin side in the semi-finals, but just three days prior, they fell to a defeat to Berlin in the league.
As for Gladbach, they just want the season over with in what has been a torrid debut campaign for Adi Hutter at the club.
They are now in 11th, but with no chance of getting into the European spots, these final few games are all about just finishing as high as they possibly can and writing this season off and starting preseason with a bit of confidence.
Gladbach have also failed to win their past two games again, as they lost to Koln 3-1 at home, before they drew 3-3 with Freiburg in the league as well. Greuther Furth were their last win back at the start of April.
Forebet predicts another win for Leipzig here, as their form seems too strong for such a poor Gladbach side. Forebet also predicts the game to see over 2.5 goals.
