We have an all-Premier League FA Cup clash to get our teeth into on Saturday night, with Tottenham Hotspur welcoming Brighton & Hove Albion to North London.

The two sides are separated by six points in the Premier League table. Tottenham sit seventh, while Brighton find themselves ninth.

It is worth noting, however, that Spurs have two games in hand over Brighton. That suggests the gulf between the teams may be bigger than the standings indicate.

Spurs booked their place in the fourth round with a 3-1 victory over third-tier Morecambe. Despite going behind in the first half, the Premier League side scored three late goals to advance.

In the Premier League, Antonio Conte’s men have lost just one of their previous ten matches – picking up six wins and three draws along the way.

They suffered their first league defeat since early November last time out, going down 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Having kept five clean sheets in their last ten Premier League games, Tottenham will be hoping they can carry their league form onto the FA Cup stage.

As for Brighton, they required extra-time to get past Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion in the previous round.

Jakub Moder equalised for the Seagulls with less than ten minutes of normal time remaining, before Neal Maupay netted the winner in extra-time.

Graham Potter’s men are currently enjoying a six-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League, having claimed two wins and four draws since their last loss.

When you look at the bigger picture, they have only lost one of their past ten league outings – recording one win and seven draws in the process.

Given their recent record, you probably won’t be surprised that Brighton have drawn more games than any other team in England’s top flight this term.

Head-to-head: Across the past four meetings between Tottenham and Brighton, both teams have picked up two wins.

That said, Brighton have only managed to win two of their previous ten matches against Spurs across all competitions.

Team news: With Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero on the verge of returning from injury, Tottenham are almost at full strength.

By contrast, Brighton will be without Jeremy Sarmiento, Enock Mwepu, Shane Duffy and Jason Steele on Saturday.

Tottenham and Brighton have both picked up a number of positive results of late, meaning Saturday’s clash is likely to be a tight affair.

With that in mind, Forebet predicts that Brighton will hold Spurs to a low-scoring draw in North London.
