Bayer Leverkusen have enjoyed a solid start to their Bundesliga campaign. Last time out Die Werkself recorded a 2-1 win over Hungarian team Ferencvaros in their opening Europa League group game of the campaign. The win followed a 4-3 home defeat against Dortmund in the league.
However, before the loss against BVB, Leverkusen had taken seven points from their opening three league games. The visitors will be confident of getting back to winning ways in the German top-flight in this game.
Bayer have been slightly travel sick in the Bundesliga of late, having won just two of their last 12 league matches away from home.
However, the visitors are unbeaten in five games against Stuttgart, having recorded four league wins in the process.
