Hertha Berlin had previously slipped to losses against Koln, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich but this upcoming home fixture against the basement dwellers, Greuther Furth, represents a golden opportunity for the Berlin hosts to pick up the maximum three points here.
Despite their lowly position of third from bottom in the Bundesliga, Hertha Berlin’s recent results overall haven’t been too shabby as they’ve lost just four of their last 13 matches overall, only one of which was at home.
The hosts have lost just one of their last seven games at home in the German top flight.
It’s still early days of course in this season’s Bundesliga campaign but already, Greuther Furth look to have their work cut out if they’re to maintain their German top flight status this season as the visitors currently occupy bottom spot in the Bundesliga with just one point to their name.
