Waterford United have made a nightmare start to their campaign in the Irish Premier Division. They face a trip to Bohemians on Saturday afternoon, as Marc Bircham’s team attempt to kick-start their faltering league campaign.
Bohemians are sixth-place in the table after an inconsistent start to their campaign in the Irish Premier Division, five points adrift of the Europa League spots.

However, their form has shown promising signs of improvement of late, as the home team has won three of their last four league matches while scoring at least two goals in each of the three victories.
They have also suffered defeat in just one of their last five matches in the Irish top-flight.
Bohemians FC have a poor recent home record in the Irish Premier Division, winning just two of their previous seven league matches on home soil.
However, they have now won their previous two matches on home soil, scoring nine goals in the two victories.
Waterford United are bottom of the table after picking up just six points from their first 13 matches in the Irish Premier Division.
Despite their poor league campaign so far, the visitors are just a point behind Longford Town who occupy the relegation play-off spot.
A 2-1 home defeat against Finn Harps last time out means that they have now suffered six straight league defeats. In fact, it means that they have lost 11 of their last 13 matches in the Irish Premier Division this season.
Unsurprisingly, Waterford’s recent away form has been poor, as the visitors have now lost their last four league games on their travels. They have also conceded at least two goals in three of their last four away matches in the Irish top-flight.
