West Bromwich Albion will aim to keep their faint survival hopes alive when they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Thursday.

The Baggies currently sit second from bottom in the table – three points behind third-bottom Fulham and nine points shy of safety.

At the other end of the standings, the Foxes sit just inside the top four but are in danger of slipping out of the Champions League places.

Following a run of just one defeat in 12 Premier League games, Leicester have only managed to win two of their previous six outings.

Having lost to Manchester City and West Ham United so far this month, the Foxes head into Thursday’s clash on the back of two straight EPL defeats.

However, Brendan Rodgers’ side booked their place in the FA Cup final with a 1-0 victory over Southampton last weekend.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored in the only goal of the game, meaning he has now netted ten goals in his last seven appearances.

On the flip side, West Brom head into Thursday’s game having clinched back-to-back league wins for the very first time this season.

The Baggies secured a shock 5-2 victory over Chelsea before seeing off Southampton 3-0 in their previous outing.

Still, having won just five of their 31 Premier League matches this term, it is no real surprise that West Brom are on the verge of being relegated.

Sam Allardyce has undoubtedly improved the team’s results, but there is no denying that West Brom have left it far too late.

Head-to-head: Leicester claimed an easy 3-0 victory over West Brom back in September, with Jamie Vardy bagging a brace.

The Foxes are unbeaten in their previous four meetings with the Baggies, recording three wins and one draw in that time.

Team news: Harvey Barnes and James Justin look set to miss the rest of the season for Leicester, although Ricardo Pereira is likely to be fit for Thursday’s clash.

As for West Brom, veteran defender Branislav Ivanovic is expected to miss the remainder of the campaign with a thigh problem.

West Brom have picked up a couple of positive results recently, but Leicester should have more than enough quality to overcome the Baggies.

Forebet predicts that Leicester will score over 2.5 goal en route to beating West Brom on Thursday, further damaging the Baggies’ chance of staying in the Premier League.
