Sevilla are just six points off of La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid going into a midweek clash with Levante. Los Rojiblancos are on a brilliant run of form having won three games on the bounce.

On Tuesday night, they visit Valencia to play the city’s second team, Levante. The Frogs are ninth in the La Liga standings going into matchday 32.

Manager Paco Lopez’s team are firmly entrenched in midtable with no real hope of European qualification nor relegation.

Levante fell 1-0 to Sevilla in the reverse fixture in Seville. Striker Youssef En-Nesyri scored a 90th-minute winner for Sevilla to snatch a win at the death.

Lopez will hope the team can put in another strong performance against Sevilla, but avoid defeat this time out.

Sevilla are on a seven-match unbeaten streak in all competitions versus Levante. Los Rojiblancos could keep that unbeaten run going this weekend to stay with their top three rivals.

Sevilla are atop the current La Liga form table with 16 points from the last 18 available. Julen Lopetegui’s team scored 11 goals while conceding a mere five to opponents during that time period.

Levante, on the other hand, took a mere six points from the last 18 on offer. They struggled in the league with a mere three goals scored.

Meanwhile, 10 goals were conceded to opponents. The Frogs were blasted at home by Villarreal on matchday 31 by a score of 5-1.

Lopez is without Carlos Clerc for the fixture due to a suspension. Joining him on the sidelines is Jorge Campana. The midfielder has a hamstring injury.

There is hope that Nemanja Radoja, Jorge Miramon, and Nikola Vukcevic will be fit for the game following their fitness issues.

Lopetegui has no new injury issues. The manager takes Sevilla to the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia with a fully fit squad.

En-Nesyri is attracting attention from Premier League teams thanks to his team leading 16 goals. The striker has 35% of Sevilla’s scoring this season.

En-Nesyri scored the winner in the reverse fixture and could get on the scoresheet once more. He scored against Real Sociedad last weekend in Sevilla’s 2-1 win.

Sevilla have won two games on the bounce against Levante in La Liga. They should once again claim a victory over the mid-table side.

Tuesday’s game should see more goals than the reverse fixture. Both sides should get on the scoresheet with more than 2.5 goals tallied.
