Chelsea will be aiming to solidify their place in the top four when struggling West Bromwich Albion visit Stamford Bridge in the Premier League’s early kick-off on Saturday.

The Blues currently find themselves fourth in the table – two points ahead of fifth-place West Ham United and three points clear of Tottenham in sixth.

At the other end of the table, West Brom are languishing in nineteenth place – four points clear of last-place Sheffield United and ten points from safety.

It is no secret that Chelsea are thriving under Thomas Tuchel. In fact, they remain unbeaten under the German boss.

Having won six and drawn four of their ten Premier League games under Tuchel, Chelsea now look like genuine top-four contenders.

On top of that, the Blues have kept eight clean sheets in their ten matches since Tuchel took charge, including four straight shutouts before the international break.

Chelsea are also enjoying a 15-match unbeaten streak in all competitions, having advanced to the Champions League quarter-finals.

However, it is worth noting that each of Chelsea’s last ten matches have produced under 2.5 goals. They may be solid at the back, but they have struggled for goals of late.

Meanwhile, West Brom haven’t been performing well at either end of the pitch – failing to score in each of their last three away games.

Worse still, the Baggies have conceded a whopping 57 goals in 29 league outings this season. Needless to say, they have the worst defensive record in the division.

Not only have West Brom won just three Premier League games all season, but they have also scored just 20 goals along the way.

Just like Chelsea, West Brom’s recent matches have been low-scoring affairs, with each of their last seven games producing under 2.5 goals.

With Big Sam failing to steer the club clear of trouble, it is surely now a matter of when and not if the Baggies get relegated.

Head-to-head: Back in September, West Brom raced into a 3-0 lead against Chelsea, only for the Blues to fight back and seal a 3-3 draw.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their previous seven meetings with West Brom, picking up five wins and two draws along the way.

Team news: Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi are both injury doubts for Chelsea, although Thiago Silva is close to returning.

As for West Brom, Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher will miss Saturday’s game, as he is ineligible to face his parent club.

When you consider the recent form of these two sides, it is difficult to imagine anything other than a comfortable Chelsea win on Saturday.

Forebet predicts that Chelsea will keep yet another clean sheet en route to victory over West Brom, scoring over 1.5 goals in the process.
