Liverpool come into this game having picked up a much needed victory away from home against Sheffield United on the weekend.
With the score 0-0 at half-time, Liverpool made an early breakthrough in the second half and despite plenty of hard work from Sheffield United, they could not get back into the game and Liverpool secured the points with a second goal in the 65th minute.
