AC Milan sit on top of the Serie A table with 8-games played, following an impressive 3-1 win at Napoli on Sunday. A goal in each half from the enigmatic Ibrahimovic put AC Milan 2-0 up, but Mertens scored shortly after the hour mark to bring Napoli back into the match.

The visitors had to wait until deep into stoppage time to secure all 3pts, thanks to a goal from Hauge, which made the final scoreline 3-1.

Sunday’s hosts have won three of their last six matches in all competitions, losing once at home in the Europa League to Lille. Five of AC Milan’s last six outings have seen over 2.5 goals scored and four have ended with both teams getting on the scoreboard.

AC have only failed to score in one of their last six matches and have found the back of the net in all of their 8 league games.

AC Milan have had mixed fortunes against Fiorentina in recent seasons, winning two, losing two, and drawing two of the pair’s last six encounters in Serie A. Both teams have scored in four of those six matches and over 2.5 goals have been produced in two of the last three times that AC have played hosts to Fiorentina.

Fiorentina suffered a shock 1-0 home defeat to newly-promoted Benevento last time out, Improta scoring the only goal of the game. After that loss, Fiorentina find themselves sitting 15th in the table, just 3pts off the relegation places.

The visitors have only secured two wins in their last six outings and one of those arrived in the Coppa Italia against lower-league opposition.

Three of Fiorentina’s last six matches have produced over 2.5 goals and each of those three games have seen both teams score. However, Fiorentina have failed to score in their last three outings and under 2.5 goals have been scored on each occasion.

The visitors are yet to win on the road this season, suffering two defeats and salvaging two draws.

Ibrahimovic could miss Sunday’s clash with a hip injury, while Fiorentina look set to be without Ribery and former AC Milan midfielder Bonaventura this weekend due to injury.

Forebet believe that AC Milan are best placed to claim all 3pts on Sunday and that Fiorentina’s only real chance of securing any points would be via a draw.

AC Milan haven’t kept many clean sheets of late and this trend is likely to continue.
