The team from San Sebastian are now five games unbeaten in La Liga, although their last four league games have finished all-square. Imanol Alguacil’s have found victories hard to come by in the Spanish top-flight, winning just two of their last 13 league outings.
Even with the lack of victories the visitors still qualified for the Europa League for this season.
La Real are unbeaten in four away games in the Spanish top-flight but have won just once in their last six league matches on their travels. Both teams have scored in Real Sociedad’s last five league outings, although three of their last four away games have produced under 2.5 goals.
