Leeds United are one of the sleeping giants of the English game. The Whites have been in the Championship since 2004, with a financial crisis also seeing them slip into their tier of English football at one stage.
However, the arrival of brilliant Chilean head coach Marcelo Bielsa has revived the Whites.
Last season they came close to promotion back to the Premier League. However, with the Yorkshire side top of the Championship table, it looks like this could be their season for a return to the English top-flight.

They head into Saturday afternoon’s Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road top of the Championship table. Bielsa’s team are level on points with second-place West Brom, but the pair are nine points clear of the chasing pack in the race for automatic promotion.
Despite their relatively lofty position in the table, their recent form has not been great, as Leeds have won just one of their last five league games. However, three of the games in that run have finished in draws, including a 1-1 draw with promotion rivals West Brom last time out.
Despite their relatively inconsistent recent run of league form, Leeds have remained strong on home soil, as they are unbeaten in nine league games at Elland Road, having recorded six wins.
The visitors are enjoying a promising campaign of their own. The Owls head into this clash just two points outside the play-off spots. However, a recent poor run in the second tier of the English game, including three straight defeats has not helped their promotion chances.
Garry Monk’s team also have an inconsistent recent away record in the second tier, as they have won just twice in their last eight away matches in the Championship.
Forebet predicts that Leeds will record a victory in a high-scoring encounter to enhance their chances of promotion.
