The Europa League qualifying phase has just one match remaining as teams aim to reach the group stage of the competition.

On Thursday 29th August we have over 20 different ties to be decided, one of which will be played at Molineux as Wolverhampton Wanderers of the Premier League host Torino of Serie A.

The first leg ended 3-2 in favour of Wolves and not only did the away team win the match but they scored 3 away goals in the process. That makes the Premier League outfit the favourites to win the tie but Torino will have other ideas.

It has been a long start to the new season for Wolves as they entered Europa League qualifying at the second qualifying round. A draw against Crusaders was kind and Wolves won the home leg 2-0 before completing the job with a 4-1 away win.

The third round draw paired Wolves with Pyunik of Armenia and that meant a long away trip. However, the players responded well and Wolves won the away leg 4-0 before defeating them by the same score at home.

Wolves have played eight matches in all competitions this season and remain undefeated. Their three games in the Premier League have all produced draws, so their best form has been kept for the Europa League at the beginning of the season.

Torino started their Serie A campaign on the weekend and they defeated Sassuolo 2-1 at home. That was their first win in three matches and goals from Simone Zaza and Andrea Belotti made the difference.

The Italians entered the Europa League at the same stage as Wolves and wasted little time as they beat Debrecen 3-0 at home and then 4-1 away. Next they met Shakhtyor of Belarus and Torino recorded a comfortable 5-0 win at home, making the away leg a formality.  It ended 1-1 but the job was already done for Torino.

Trends show Torino have won only three of their last fifteen away games in all competitions. However, they have also lost only two, being somewhat of a draw specialist in Serie A last season. It will be interesting to see if they can transfer that to this match in the Europa League but a draw will not be good enough.

Team news and Wolves have no injury or suspension concerns ahead of the game. Much will depend on which players may need a break and Patrick Cutrone will be hoping to get a start up-front.

Torino are expected to be without the injured duo of Iago Falque and Simone Edera. They also have doubts over Lyanco Vojnovic, Alessandro Buongiorno, Cristian Daniel Ansaldi and Salvador Ichazo.

Having won the away leg, Wolves have to be favourites to win at home. Torino will have to push for goals and could get on the scoresheet but it is the hosts who should win the game.
