As a result, Eddie Howe’s men have lost just one of their last five Premier League matches, with two defeats coming in their previous 10 encounters.
The Magpies have been especially strong at St. James’ Park in recent times, losing only two of their last 14 home games in the Premier League.
It is also worth noting that Newcastle have seen over 2.5 goals in 11 of their 16 home league games this season, with eight of those clashes serving up over 3.5 goals.

Given that 11 of their 15 away league games have produced over 2.5 goals, Tottenham look set to be involved in another high-scoring clash this weekend.
Head-to-head: Tottenham won the reverse fixture 4-1 back in December, meaning they have avoided defeat in six of their last eight meetings with Newcastle.
