Osasuna have now only won two games in the past month of La Liga action, losing to relegation fighters Celta Vigo in early February and Barcelona just before that.
They have also managed to draw recently with Las Palmas and clashed in a 1-1 game with Sevilla before that.
The club’s only wins in 2024 have seen them defeat Getafe as Raul Garcia, Iker Munoz and Jesus Areso all scored goals each for the club.
Another win saw them defeat Cadiz with a brace in the second half from Ante Budimir, as he also scored in the second half of an impressive 1-0 win away to Real Sociedad.
Another one of Budimir's goals came in a 2-0 win away to Alaves back in October, as he netted in a 2-0 win alongside Jose Amaiz.
Antonio Blanco was also sent off for the home side that day. Such results now keep Osasuna in 11th and behind the top six now by only seven points with them scoring just 30 times and letting in 37 goals too.
The club also head into this one with 11 losses on the board and nine defeats.
Alaves have also lost 11 games, but with seven wins on the board and five fewer goals scored, it means the club are now four behind Osasuna in the table and way adrift of a spot in Europe for next season.
Ultimately, fans will merely just be pleased with the fact they are above the relegation zone by 11 points and with the fact that a spot back in the Segunda Division seems very unlikely, unless there was a disaster from now until May.
