Juventus are on a fantastic run of form in Serie A, winning their last five matches and conceding just two goals.

The Bianconeri kept back-to-back clean sheets in Serie A, improving their defensive record to just 12 goals conceded in 21 matches.

On Saturday, Empoli will make the trip to Turin to face off with Juventus. As it stands, Juventus lead Serie A by one point over Inter.

However, Max Allegri’s team has played one additional game. Still, Juventus can go four points clear of Inter on Saturday night with a win over Empoli.

Empoli are embroiled in a relegation battle. The Azzurri are 19th in the standings and two points off safety. Last weekend’s 3-0 win over Monza at home ended a five-match winless run for Empoli in Serie A.

Juventus won four of their last six head-to-head matches against Empoli in all competitions. Earlier this season, Juventus won 2-0 away thanks to goals on either side of halftime from Danilo and Federico Chiesa.

The Bianconeri’s strong defence prevented Empoli from registering a shot on target. Although Empoli tallied 49% possession, they couldn’t cut through Juventus’s defence and get a shot on goal.

Juventus are Serie A’s best home team, with a record of eight wins and two draws from 10 games. They only allowed a league-low four goals at home.

Each of their last three matches at the Allianz Arena ended in a win to nil. Indeed, Inter were the last team to score in Turin against Juve.

Empoli failed to win any of their last four away matches in the league. They scored just two goals across those four matches. Empoli do not score many goals, especially on the road. Just six of Empoli’s 14 goals this season came on the road.

Indeed, the Azzurri are Serie A’s worst scoring team, with only 14 goals. They were held scoreless in five of their last six league matches.

Allegri won’t have the likes of Chiesa, Adrien Rabiot, Moise Kean, or Mattia DeSciglio available due to their respective injuries.

Meanwhile, Empoli coach Davide Nicola will be without forward Mattia Destro due to a muscle injury. Simone Bastoni is also sidelined with a muscle problem. Gabriele Guarino will miss the match courtesy of a muscle problem of his own.

Our AI prediction for Saturday’s clash in Turin is for another Juventus win. The Bianconeri are on a roll and should cruise to a 2-0 win.

Another clean sheet victory will see Juve go four points clear of Inter in the title race.
