Group B of the African Cup of Nations concludes on Monday night. One team in desperate need of a victory are continent giants Egypt, who face the group's surprise package, Cape Verde, in the third round of group fixtures.
Cape Verde has been in great form of late in the African Cup of Nations so far, recording back-to-back wins over Ghana and Mozambique.

Bubista’s team has scored an impressive five goals at the African Cup of Nations so far and already booked their place in the competition's knockout stages.
Egypt are in danger of disappointing at AFCON, as the Pharaohs have drawn their two group games against Mozambique and Ghana, both by a scoreline of 2-2.
The results so far have been enough to keep Rui Vitoria’s team in second place in the group. If they win or draw and the other game between Mozambique ends all square, they will also qualify automatically.

A victory in this encounter would certainly lift spirits. However, on current form, Cape Verde could be a challenging opponent.
