La Liga keeps going this midweek with Getafe heading to Atletico Madrid with the Civitas Metropolitan Stadium playing hosts to the fourth-placed home team and an away side heading into this one with hopes of a challenge for Europe this season.
Although still quite topsy-turvy this campaign, Getafe are heading into this match up in eighth and with the same amount of losses on the board as Atletico.

On the other hand, with five fewer wins, they are coming into this game with just 21 goals scored and 20 let in with seven draws on the board too.

As for Atletico, they lost for the fourth time in La Liga over the weekend with a loss to Athletic Club on the road. It keeps them down in fourth with a gap of four points on Real Sociedad. They have also now got a gap of eight points on first-placed Real Madrid.
Atletico have managed to als head into the next round of the Champions League in recent weeks by beating Feyenoord in the Netherlands and also defeating Lazio 2-0 in the group stages.
The Madrid side have also lost to Barcelona and beaten Almeria in December to keep up their hopes of more European football for next season.
