On Monday night, Bosnia-Herzegovina will look to keep their hopes of qualifying for Euro 2024 alive as they welcome already-qualified Portugal to the Stadion Bilino Polje in Group J of qualifying.
The odds are stacked against Bosnia-Herzegovina taking Group J's second automatic qualification spot. With just three games left in their qualification campaign, the home team is in fourth place in the group and four points adrift of second place Slovakia.

Bosnia-Herzegovina’s inconsistency has really not helped their chances of making Euro2024, as they have won three and lost four of their seven matches in Group J. Last time out, they recorded a 2-0 win in Liechtenstein. This game is sure to offer a far bigger challenge.
Savo Milosevic’s team also has an inconsistent recent home qualifying record, as they have won two, lost two and drawn one of their previous five games over 90 minutes.
The Selecao were favourites to win the group at the start of the campaign. Roberto Martinez’s team has undoubtedly lived up to their status by winning all seven of their matches in Group J while scoring 27 goals and conceding just twice.
Portugal have been prolific in recent qualifiers. In fact, they have scored 12 goals in their last two qualifiers for the European Championships.
At the other end of the pitch, the visitors have been rock solid in defence, only conceding two goals in their previous nine qualifiers while keeping eight clean sheets.
