The Gran Canaria Stadium will open its doors to Las Palmas and Celta Vigo this weekend with both sides sitting right by one another in the La Liga table after a dreadful start to the season for each of them.

Both teams are sitting with just one win so far in the Spanish top tier, but the two sides in this one have also lost four games.

However, Las Palmas are sitting in the relegation zone behind Celta Vigo, simply based on goals difference.

The two sides are on -4 in the goals difference region, but with Las Palmas registering the worst goals scored record in La Liga, the club are sitting in the bottom three.

In fact, after seven games, the 18th-placed side are sitting with just two goals on the board.

Last time out, Las Palmas lost to Real Madrid, but they did get one of those goals in the match before this with a victory over Granada at home.

Kirian Rodriguez was the hero that day with a finish in the dying minutes of the match, as Mika Marmol was sent off for Las Palmas too.

The only other goal scored for the club came in a 1-1 draw with Mallorca, as Jonathan Viera netted from the penalty spot in the first half.

Further results this season have seen Las Palmas lose to Girona, Valencia and Sevilla, but the club have also managed to get a draw against Real Sociedad in a 0-0 display back in August.

Celta Vigo head into this game off the back of a midweek draw with Deportivo Alaves that saw Luca de la Torre sent off in the second half.

In fact, even though the club put a goal on the board, Celta Vigo saw an own goal instead.

Rafael Benitez - despite all his glory - has so far struggled at the helm of the club. They are sitting outside of the relegation zone on just goals scored, but with only one win on the board, there is clearly a lot of work to do.

Their sole win of the season came against Almeria, where Unai Nunez, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Willion Swedberg all scored a goal each in a comeback win.

Other results this season have seen Celta Vigo lose to Barcelona, Real Madrid, Osasuna and Mallorca, while they have also grabbed a point against Sociedad.

Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
