Jose Mourinho looks to build on a tough start to the season this weekend when his Roma side heads to the newly-promoted Genoa where its been a rough ride at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.

Roma are experiencing one of their worst starts to a Serie A season in recent memory with the club down in 13th after a handful of games.

Last time out, the Rome outfit drew with Torino after another finish from Romelu Lukaku, who has started life in the capital in typical goalscoring fashion.

He also got off the mark in the Europa League this time last week with a winner in the second half.

Oddly enough, both of those goals have come in the 65th minute of the game, as Roma defeated Sheriff Tiraspol away from home in matchday one of the Europa League.

Despite the tough start Roma have also managed to smash Empoli 7-0 at home.

The club saw Paulo Dybala score twice that day with another finish from Renato Sanches, as Bryan Cristante, Lukaku and Gianluca Mancini all scored late on in that demolition job.

That 7-0 win over Empoli was Mourinho's first of the season, as his side also managed to draw 2-2 with Salernitana on the opening day of the season after a brace from Andrea Belotti.

Hellas Verona would then run out 2-1 winners over them, before AC Milan did the same at the Stadio Olimpico.

As for Genoa, it's been a tough return to life back in Serie A for them.

However, despite the awful form, the club have managed to beat Lazio 1-0 away from home, which will bode well for them in this game. Mateo Retegui scored that day in a 1-0 win.

Genoa have, however, also lost to Fiorentina at home in a 4-1 battering, as David Biraschi scored a goal that day in what was the club’s return to Serie A.

Further results have seen the club lose to Torino away from home, but they did manage to get a draw against the champions Napoli last time out.

Retegui scored once again that day, as Mattia Bani also scored. On the other hand to what should be classed as a decent point, Genoa did lead 2-0 and ended up drawing 2-2 in the end.

The newly-promoted side also lost to Lecce last time out, and Forebet predicts a draw here and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
