Chelsea and Aston Villa are set to clash at Stamford Bridge this weekend with the Blues aiming to get their Premier League season back on track after another terrible start sees them way adrift of the top five already.

Despite the addition of Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea have so far managed to win only one Premier League game, and with no European football to deal with this week unlike Aston Villa, Pochettino should expect his side back in the win column.

This run of form from Chelsea has seen them fail to win either game either side of the international break, as the club lost at home to Nottingham Forest in a stunning defeat that saw the Stamford Bridge outfit have just three shots on target on home soil.

Pochettino's only other win outside of the Premier League this season has seen his side narrowly defeat Wimbledon at home in the EFL Cup that saw Noni Madueke score in the first half from the penalty spot after going 1-0 down.

Enzo Fernandez netted in the second half to give his side the win.

The sole Premier League victory so far for Luton has seen them defeat Luton Town at home with a magnificent display from Raheem Sterling that saw him score twice with a goal in either half before a finish from Nicolas Jackson in what was his first Chelsea goal.

The Blues have also lost to West Ham United on the road this season with a 3-1 loss seeing Carney Chukwuemeka score, as Alex Disasi scored in the first half of a 1-1 draw with Liverpool.

As for Villa, they sit seventh right now in what has been a decent start to the season for them with the club edging past Crystal Palace in a 3-1 win thanks to another goal from Jhon Duran and a penalty from Douglas Luiz.

Leon Bailey also scored in the 101st minute of the game, meaning all three goals came after the 86th minute for Villa.

Unai Emery’s men were in midweek Europa Conference League action for the very first time, but in the Premier League, they are eyeing up the chance to jump into the Champions League spots, as they have also managed to beat Everton 4-0 and Burnley 3-1 this Premier League season.

Forebet predicts a win at Stamford Bridge for Villa and for the game to see over 2.5 goals, as the Blues' dreadful form continues.
