FC Magdeburg and Eintracht Braunschweig are set to clash on matchday two in the 2. Bundesliga with both sides failing to win their opening games of the season before this battle at the MDCC-Arena.
Magdeburg would draw their opening game against Wehen Wiesbaden away from home after an early goal from Luca Schuler before an equaliser from the home outfit.

Magdeburg would go on to have just two shots on target that day from nine shots and see 71% of the ball too.
The club also had a very impressive preseason by winning every single game. This run started with a 4-0 victory against Westerhausen and a 2-0 win against Altglienicke.
The club would then go on to smash AEZ by a stunning 8-1 scoreline.
The positive run continued for Magdeburg by defeating Nordsjaelland 2-0 and then beating Sevilla 3-1 just one week before their opening day draw with Wehen.
This is also the third season in a row for Magdeburg in 2. Bundesliga, as they finished 11th last year and two points adrift of the top spot.
In the end, the club would win 12 games and lose 15, as no other side lost this amount in the top 12.
Worse yet, the club let in 55 goals from 34 games and scored the fewest goals in the top 12 with 47 too.
As for Braunschweig, they would lose their opening game to Holstein Kiel at home with just one shot on target from seven efforts and just 28% of ball possession.
As well as this poor display, Hasan Kurucay was also sent off in the second half.
The club would also have a topsy-turvy preseason after defeating only Real Betis during the summer.
The club would go on to lose to Hamburger's second team and also suffer a defeat to Preuben Munster.
A 0-0 draw against Hapoel Tel Aviv would also come in shortly after and just one week before their opening day defeat to Kiel.
These two sides met as early as February back in the 2022/23 2. Bundesliga season.
Fabian Reese would give Kiel the lead the day before Holmbert Friojonsson doubled the club's lead. Timo Becker would add a third just minutes into the second half.
Maurice Multhaup would bring a goal back for Braunschweig, as Danilo Wiebe scored to finish the game 3-2.
However, Forebet predicts another defeat in this game for Braunschweig and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
