The Eliteserien season continues this weekend with a meeting between strugglers Sandefjord and the league leaders Bodo/Glimt at the Release Arena with 28 points keeping these two apart already.

It's been a magnificent season for Bodo/Glimt with them sitting top of the table and above Viking in second by nine points and only one loss throughout all competitions this season. The club also meet with Bohemians 1905 next week for a Europa Conference League first leg qualifier in the second round.

In Norway, however, only Stormsgodset have beaten Bodo/Glimt across the two competitions with an Eliteserien win this time last month.

The club have even gone on to win games in the Norwegian Cup and are now into the semi-finals against Valerenga at the end of September after beating HamKam in the quarter-finals 2-0, Tromso 3-2 in the fourth round, Ranheim TF 2-0 in round three, while also defeating Junkeren in round two and Mosjoen in the first round.

In recent Eliteserien games, Molde are the only team to take points off them in July after a 2-2 draw at home where Faris Pemi Moumbagna scored before Ulrik Saltnes netted in the 93rd minute of a comeback draw. Stunningly, however, Bodo/Glimt still had 33 shots that day and 11 on target.

Elsewhere, the league leaders have defeated Odd 2-0 after a finish each from Albert Gronbaek and Amahl Pellegrino. Bodo/Glimt have also beaten Haugesund in the last outing with a goal from Moumbagna once more and a finish from Sondre Sorli.

As for Sandefjord, they have struggled for form all season long after registering just two wins from the 13 games. They do, however, sit one point above Aalesund at the bottom of the Eliteserien with seven defeats and four draws so far, and they have even let in 25 goals from just 13 matches.

In recent games, Sandefjord have let in a stunning 14 goals in five games and won only once in this time. That victory came against Odd after Danilo Al-Saed scored a brace before Gilbert Koomson scored a goal.

Despite the great win, the relegation-fighting side have also lost 3-2 to Haugesund, 6-1 to Saprsborg and 4-2 against Lillestrom. Sandefjord have also drawn 0-0 with Stabaek during this time.

Forebet predicts a win for Bodo/Glimt in this game and for the match to see under 2.5 goals.
