Cavalry and Wanderers Likely to Draw Just Four Weeks on From Meeting One Another

Cavalry and Wanderers will meet in the Canadian Premier League this weekend with the two sides sitting two positions apart in the top flight of Canadian football after a topsy-turvy run of form from the away side.

Wanderers have failed to win two games in a row in the past two months, as they managed to defeat Pacific last time out thanks to two goals from Massimo Ferin and Callum Watson.

The club was defeated by Vancouver FC the day prior to that, as Tiago Coimbra scored a goal that day.

Prior to that, Wanderers won again as they managed to beat Forge 2-1 after a draw with York United - Coimbra scored once more that day, as Aidan Daniels netted for Wanderers against York.

Against Forge, however, Ferrin was the man who got the ball rolling, as Kyle Bekker scored in the 88th minute of the goal to equalise for them.

However, in stunning scenes, Daniel Nimick scored a penalty in the 90+10th minute of the game.

The last time these two met in the Canadian Premier League, Wanderers managed to win 3-1.

Coimbra and Daniels scored once more that day in what has been an excellent season for them both, as Theo Collomb scored in the 84th minute for Wanderers.

Myer Bevan scored from the penalty spot after eight minutes to get the game off.

Wanderers have now won four times and lost three games and managed to score the game amount as they have conceded (18).

This season has also seen them draw seven times from 14 games, meaning half of their matches have ended in this manner.

As for Cavalry, they are in third and two points above Wanderers in the table with 21 points secured and just three losses so far.

The club are coming into this one with four points to make up on Pacific in first place after a victory over them last weekend - Eryk Kobza scored that day alongside a finish from Fraser Aird.

Since that win, Cavalry have gone on to lose to Atletico and they also suffered a defeat to Wanderers around this time last month.

On the other hand, the club have managed to secure wins over Valour and York United in the past few weeks too.
