Iceland and Portugal are set to battle on matchday four of the Euro 2024 qualifiers with the away side still yet to concede a single goal in Group J after defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last outing.

It's now three wins from three games for Portugal in Group J and the Euro 2016 champions have now scored 13 goals and not let in a single one in their own goal.

Last time out, Bernardo Silva scored the game's opening goal against Bosnia and Herzegovina with Bruno Fernandes bagging a brace in the second half of the game with the Manchester United midfielder carrying on his excellent run of form this season.

Before that, Portugal defeated Luxembourg 6-0 with a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo that made him the all-time leading goalscorer in international football. Joao Felix and Bernado Silva also scored first half goals that day alongside finishes from Otavio and Rafael Leao.

Portugal also beat Liechtenstein 4-0 on the opening week of action in these Euro 2024 qualifiers, where Ronaldo scored another double alongside another finish from Silva and a goal from Joao Cancelo.

It puts the nation as the most in-form side in the qualifiers this campaign with no other side having a better goals difference record after three games.

Portugal are, however, only two points clear of Slovakia after the latter defeated Iceland in the last matchday.

Alfred Finnbogason scored from the penalty spot that day for Iceland to equalise at the time, but a finish from Tomas Suslov ended the game with a 2-1 win for Slovakia.

The Euro 2016 quarter-finalists did defeat Liechtenstein 7-0 before that, however, as David Kristjan Olafsson scored after three minutes before a finish from Hakon Arnar Hardsson. Andri Gudjohnsen and Mikael Egill Ellertsson scored goals late on that day alongside a hat-trick from Aron Gunnarsson.

In the other match for Iceland in these Euro 2024 qualifiers, the nation lost 3-0 to Bosnia and Herzegovina and it now means just one win in 2023 for them after drawing in a friendly with Estonia and losing to Sweden back in January too.

Forebet predicts another convincing win for Portugal. They are yet to let in a single goal this campaign in Group J and it’s tough to see how they lose here. Forebet also predicts the game to see over 2.5 goals with the likes of Fernandes, Silva and Ronaldo all in goalscoring form.
