Coritiba find themselves at the foot of the Brazilian Serie A table as they prepare to host Internacional at Couto Pereira in midweek.
Having failed to win any of their 10 league games this season, Coritiba sit two points adrift at the bottom of the standings and five points inside the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Internacional find themselves 10th – 10 points above Coritiba – thanks largely to a recent three-game unbeaten streak.
There is no hiding the fact that Coritiba have endured a campaign to forget up to now, as they have recorded four draws and six losses in the league.
When you look at the bigger picture, Coritiba have failed to win any of their previous 12 matches across all competitions, recording five draws and seven defeats in the process.
Not only do Coritiba have the worst offensive record in Serie A (8), but they also have the second-worst defensive record (20).
That said, Coritiba have avoided defeat in three of their last four home league games, so they will be hopeful of picking up a positive result against Internacional.
As for Internacional, they head into this clash on a three-game unbeaten run in the league, having collected two wins and one draw since their last loss.
After defeating Bahia 2-0, Internacional held Santos to a 1-1 draw before beating Vasco da Gama 2-1 last weekend.
It is also worth noting that Internacional have avoided defeat in each of their previous six matches across all competitions, notching four wins and two draws along the way.
Having taken five points from their past three away outings, Internacional will be confident of extending Coritiba’s winless run.
Head-to-head: Coritiba’s last victory over Internacional came all the way back in 2012. Since then, Coritiba have failed to win any of their 12 meetings with Inter.
To make matters worse for Coritiba, Internacional have won six of the previous nine encounters between the teams, keeping four clean sheets for good measure.
Team news: Coritiba currently have three players sidelined due to injury – Junior Urso (muscle), Benjamin Kuscevic (muscle) and Thiago Dombroski (hamstring).
On the flip side, Internacional will be without Charles Aranguiz for the trip to Couto Pereira at the former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder continues to recover from an adductor injury.
Given that Coritiba have yet to taste victory in Serie A this season, Internacional shouldn’t struggle to make light work of the basement dwellers.
For that reason, Forebet predicts that International will see off Coritiba with ease, scoring over 1.5 goals while keeping a clean sheet.
