Pacific FC will host Canadian Premier League rival York United on matchday No 11 at the Starlight Stadium in British Columbia.
Sunday’s fixture is a match-up between two of the CPL’s top three teams.

Pacific go into the weekend atop the CPL standings, with 18 points from nine games.
The Tridents are only two points ahead of second-place Forge FC and two points above third-place York United.
Both Pacific and York United are trying to undo the CPL domination of Forge FC.
Pacific go into the match against York United unbeaten in six straight matches in the CPL.
The Tridents took 14 points from their last 18 points on offer in the Canadian top flight.
During Pacific’s six-game unbeaten streak, they defeated York United 4-1 at the Starlight Stadium.
Pacific ran out to a 2-0 lead in the opening 42 minutes thanks to goals from Amer Didic and Manny Aparicio.
York United pulled a goal back thanks to Kevin Santos in the 55th minute.
Pacific were fazed and added a third with eight minutes to play courtesy of David Brazao. Easton Ongaro doubled Pacific’s lead once more in the 90th minute.
Since losing against Pacific FC, York United have been on an excellent run of form. The Nine Stripes are unbeaten in five straight games.
They took 13 points from the last 15 points on offer. York United outscored their last five opponents 9-3.
Pacific have a strong historical record against York United. In the team’s last nine meetings, Pacific went unbeaten in seven matches, losing just twice to York United.

The visitors are on a good run of form and will fancy taking points off the league leaders.

York United’s Osaze De Rosario is a player to watch out for. The 21-year-old is the son of former Canadian national team player Dwayne De Rosario, who had a strong MLS career.
De Rosario scored his first goal of the season last time out in a 2-1 win over Atletico Ottawa.
Pacific’s Ayman Sellouf and Aparicio have combined for six goals this season, with three apiece. Aparicio was on target the last time these teams met this season.
United should get a result this time around, as the match finishes 1-1. The draw could see Forge FC move into first place.
