Lens are looking to heap the pressure on Paris Saint-Germain this weekend with the club set to welcome Reims to the Estadio Bollaert-Deleis after a sensational win in Ligue 1 with the away side still sitting down in 10th.

Lens are still within six points of PSG in first place and have four more games (12 points) to cut that gap down.

They did, however, just move back into second after a sensational win over Marseille who were in second at the time.

Seko Fofana scored that to get Lens up and running before Lois Openda added a second in the second half.

Marseille brought one back towards the end of the game, but in the end, their superior defence was the difference.

In fact, after letting in just one goal, Lens remain the best defensive side in the league this season and only a handful of clubs across Europe's top five leagues have conceded fewer goals than them with this record even surpassing the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Nevertheless, it will all be worthless unless Lens can win all their remaining games just as PSG lose at least three of their fixtures.

The club is, however, back to a three-game winning run after also beating Monaco 3-0 and Toulouse 1-0 since their 3-1 defeat to the league leaders in Paris.

Reims got a fantastic win over Lille last time out to move them back into the top half of the table. Marshall Munetsi scored in the first half that day to end a run of three defeats on the spin for Will Still’s side.

Reims have now cut the gap to Lille to nine points which means they are still mathematically capable of getting in Europe for next season.

It is, however, extremely unlikely, as they would need to leapfrog five teams in the process and win three of their remaining four games.

Reims are still just one point off Nice in eighth, however, and a finish inside the top eight would be a good season for the club, given how they have not finished in the top eight for three years. Still’s side have still conceded the same amount of goals as PSG.

Forebet predicts a win for Lens in this one and for them to keep the pressure on PSG. Forebet also predicts the game to see over 2.5 goals.
