On Sunday night, Troyes hosts PSG at the Parc des Princes as the visitors look to strengthen their title defence in Ligue One.
The home team looks to be all but relegated to the French second tier. They find themselves in 18th place in the Ligue One table, ten points adrift of safety with just five league games remaining.

Another defeat would not mathematically relegate the home team, it would take something incredible for Troyes to survive the drop, though.
The fact that Troyes haven’t won in their last 16 Ligue One matches has undoubtedly not helped their chances of maintaining their top-flight status. A 1-0 home defeat by Nice last time out was their fourth loss in their previous five matches.
Unsurprisingly, Troyes’ home record is not great in Ligue One, as they have failed to win in 14 league matches on home soil.
The reigning French champions are five points clear at the top of the Ligue One table despite a shock 3-1 home defeat by Lorient last time out in the league.
The loss ended a three-game winning run for the Parisians and also a goal-scoring run, as they had scored at least two in all three victories in the winning streak.
PSG’s recent Ligue One outings have been high-scoring, with ten of their previous 13 league games producing over 2.5 goals.
Christophe Galtier’s team has been in good form on their travels, as PSG has won their last four away games in the French top flight. They have also been prolific in the winning run, scoring at least two goals in each away win.
Forebet predicts that PSG will record a victory in a high-scoring clash to enhance their chances of retaining the Ligue One title.
