Fresh from having their 15-point deduction reversed, Juventus welcome Serie A champions-elect Napoli to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday evening.

Juventus now find themselves third in the Serie A standings – six points inside the top four and two points shy of second-placed Lazio.

However, Juventus still trail table-topping Napoli by a whopping 16 points, meaning it is only a matter of time before Luciano Spalletti’s side wrap up the scudetto.

Juventus head into Sunday’s showdown on the back of a 1-1 draw with Portuguese club Sporting, despite seeing just 40% possession while registering a solitary shot on target.

Still, Max Allegri’s men advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League thanks to a 2-1 aggregate win, setting up a two-legged showdown with Sevilla.

It is worth noting that Juve have lost their last two Serie A matches, suffering a 2-1 defeat to Lazio before losing 1-0 at Sassuolo last weekend.

That said, Allegri’s side have won seven of their last 10 league outings, with 15 victories coming in their previous 21 domestic encounters.

On the flip side, Napoli failed to reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in midweek, suffering a 2-1 aggregate defeat to AC Milan.

It is worth remembering, however, that Napoli have lost just two of their last 14 Serie A clashes, picking up 11 wins and one draw in the process.

When you look at the bigger picture, Spelletti’s men have won 24 of their 30 league games this season, scoring 66 goals while conceding just 21.

Star striker Victor Osimhem has racked up 26 goals and five assists in all competitions this term, while key playmaker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has bagged 14 goals and 16 assists.

Head-to-head: Napoli crushed Juventus 5-1 in the reverse fixture back in January, with Osimhen bagging a brace on that occasion.

On top of that, Napoli have lost just two of their last eight meetings with Juve in all competitions, picking up four wins and two draws along the way.

Team news: Juventus look set to be without the injured duo of Moise Kean and Kaio Jorge for the foreseeable future.

As for Napoli, their injury list contains Amir Rrahmani, Matteo Politano and Mario Rui, while Giovanni Simeone is also a doubt for Sunday’s clash.

Given that Napoli thrashed Juventus 5-1 earlier this year, Spalletti’s men will be confident of doing the double over the Old Lady.

Forebet predicts that Napoli will enhance their title bid with a narrow victory over Juventus, who are expected to put up a decent fight without getting anything from the game.
